HASA Marketing Program

Advertising Program Purpose

HASA continues to offer progressive advertising support programs to our industry. Marketing programs provide financial support for your branding efforts and compound exposure in your market while promoting HASA and Orenda family branded products.

Advertising Program

Earn up to a 3% allowance with HASA’s 2025 Marketing Advertising Program. Calculations are based on prior years qualified purchases of HASA and Orenda family branded products. Note: ALL advertising as part of this program MUST be pre-approved prior to ANY marketing ads being considered.

Print Ads and Direct Mailers

Your marketing allowance can be used for digital or print ads. [ in newspapers, magazines, newsletters, customer designed flyers, postcards, local school or church bulletins, door hangers, etc.]

HASA covers up to 75% of the dealer’s ad cost when HASA is the only manufacturer represented in the ad. Actual percentage is determined by the advertising space dedicated to HASA and the amount of accrued marketing allowance earned per dealer per calendar year. [When additional manufacturers are included in the dealer’s ad, HASA will pay for the space occupied by HASA. Pre-approval required.]

Marketing  Allowance Program covers
[“Special Projects” refer to items such as:]

  • Company uniforms such as t-shirts and polo shirts with the HASA logo co-displayed on uniform.
  • Logoed products such as caledars, notebooks, etc.
  • Store and vehicle signage.
  • Point of purchase materials.
  • Home shows.

ALL “Special Projects” must be pre-approved. Up to 75% reimbursement project costs will be paid and is limited to the marketing funds available. If there are multiple advertisers, a percentage of the space occupied by HASA will be paid. No reimbursement for projects including competitive products.

PLEASE SUBMIT FOR PRE-APPROVAL TO ELIMINATE ANY CONFUSION ON AMOUNT.

2025 Pre-Approved Consumer Coupon Instructions

  • Pre-approved consumer coupons or coupon campaigns are to be used for published or mailed coupon promotions only. Paper coupons must be supplied by HASA.
  • Coupons used for in-store specials or as in-store handouts will not be approved – no reimbursement.
  • Coupon reimbursement is based on evidence of printed advertisement or mailed flyers.
  • When coupons are printed in any publication, they must display a readable code and an expiration date on each coupon issued by HASA.
  • The expiration date may be no later than September 30,2025.
  • Reimbursement to participating dealers and service companies come in the form of a credit or voucher from HASA.

HASA coupons are for retail sales only and not to be used for wholesale sales.

To Ensure Appropriate Reimbursement:

  • Dealer must supply copy of 2024 distributor invoices or a distributor report showing HASA purchases. These purchases are used to determine dealer marketing allowance budget for 2025.
  • IN ORDER FOR CUSTOMER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE CREDITS/VOUCHERS, YOU MUST FIRST OBTAIN PRIOR APPROVAL FROM HASA OF THE ADVERTISING OR COUPONS BEFORE IT IS PUBLISHED.
  • When submitting the coupon or advertising for pre-approval, a returned email will be sent with the percentage and/or dollar amount that will be paid by HASA.
  • Actual printed media must be submitted to HASA along with actual print and mailing invoices for reimbursement.
  • Submitted print media must match the proof originally sent in for pre approval.
  • Earned marketing allowance expires at the end of the year to which it applies. Example: marketing earned for 2025 purchases must be used and claimed by December 31, 2025. Accrued funds may not be carried over to the following year and should not be regarded as a rebate.
  • Marketing event must have taken place the year it is being requested.
  • Website design requires prior approval and MUST contain a prominent HASA logo.
  • Product exclusions are 50# soda ash, 50# sodium bicarb, 50# calcium carbonate, 50# and 100# conditioner (CYA), all sizes of trichlor and DE. These items do not accrue marketing dollars.
  • Must use approved HASA logos with taglines for placement on all materials.
  • Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing.

Reimbursement to participating dealers is in the form of a credit/voucher from HASA.

IMPORTANT: Retailer must have chosen HASA Sani-Clor® as its exclusive deposit sanitizing product to participate in HASA’s marketing programs. This program is for retail sales ONLY and not to be used for wholesale. HASA reserves the right to include 2024 marketing program structure and implementation.
